Springfield

Springfield is the town where The Simpsons is set. It's sort of half real, half fiction. Well ok it's all fictional but there are plenty of towns that are named Springfield.
There is a map of Springfield circulating the internet somewhere containing (as far as I know) all the locations used in all the episodes.
Location
Nobody knows where Springfield is as it has never been mentioned. However CompuGlobalHyperMegaNet is trying to work out which state it is in by elimination.
The town is located next to the town of Shelbyville who have a harse rivally between them (although this only exists in certain episodes in others it is totally ignored). The towns have wierd similarties such as Moe's Tavern in Springfield and Joe's Cavern in Shelbyville.
